The first is a key fundamental project for achieving "oil conversion". The project fully integrates the resources of other enterprises within Dongying Port Economic Development Zone and converts low-value-added light hydrocarbon raw materials such as propane and butane into high-value-added products such as polymer-grade propylene, propylene oxide, and other products, achieving a comprehensive transformation from refining to chemicals. The second is a demonstration project for green and low-carbon development. The propane dehydrogenation unit is currently the largest single set of installed facilities in the world, using UOP's most advanced process technology, with a product conversion rate 3.8% higher than that of the same industry and an energy consumption index 5% lower. The propylene oxide unit is the largest in China, using the advanced co-oxidation method co-production process. Compared with other single production processes, it can save investment by more than 20%, with energy consumption and material consumption indicators 8% lower than those of the same industry. At the same time, this project can produce an annual additional hydrogen gas output of 48,000 tons, providing good preparation for future green hydrogen production applications. The third is a leading project for achieving cluster energy level leapfrogging. As the leader project of the propylene industry chain in Dongying Port Economic Development Zone, it has established a good upstream and downstream material supply relationship with related enterprises, and key enterprises have achieved "supply across walls" through pipeline transportation, playing a decisive role in optimizing the cluster ecology.
