The total investment of the project is 12.36 billion yuan, mainly constructing a 750000 ton/year propane dehydrogenation unit, a 300000/67000 ton/year epoxy propane/styrene combined unit, a 200000 ton/year maleic anhydride unit, and a 250000 ton/year gas separation unit. The project has advanced technology and overall advantages such as low environmental impact, low energy consumption, high safety and reliability, and leading product quality. The propane dehydrogenation unit adopts the UOP Oleflex process technology from the United States, which is one of the most advanced technologies in the world, with a market share of over 70%; The propane dehydrogenation unit of this project is currently the largest single unit in use globally. The epoxy propane unit uses the most advanced co oxidation method in China to jointly produce styrene and epoxy propane, breaking through international technical barriers and becoming the largest unit in China. After being put into operation, it will effectively reduce the import dependence of epoxy propane and styrene!
The propylene oxide unit selected the domestically advanced co-oxidation method to produce styrene and propylene oxide simultaneously.
At present, the project has been fully launched, and the long-term equipment of the propane dehydrogenation unit has been fully ordered and production and installation have begun. The overall investment of the project has now reached 5 billion yuan, and it is planned to complete 5 billion yuan by the end of the year. The propane dehydrogenation and public auxiliary projects are planned to be delivered by mid September 2023, and the epoxy propane styrene combined unit and maleic anhydride unit are planned to be delivered by mid September 2024. After the project is fully put into operation, its annual sales revenue will be 35.6 billion yuan, new profits and taxes will be 8 billion yuan, and more than 1000 new jobs will be created. This will further elongate the carbon three and carbon four industry chains in our city, effectively fill the domestic gap, effectively promote the transformation of new and old driving forces in our city, accelerate the pace of transformation and upgrading, and achieve a greater improvement in the industrial structure!
